Born and raised in Honolulu, Dr. Tanaka left the islands to get a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University and continued on to the University of Missouri - Kansas City for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He chose to share the Aloha Spirit in the Midwest and practiced in Wichita, Kansas for over 7 years before deciding to return home to Hawaii where he knows he can continue providing the same quality care he always has. In his free time, Dr Tanaka enjoys golfing, seeing family, cooking and exploring new places with his wife and dog.
