The doctors & staff of Dental Care of Pearlridge are thrilled to make the Aiea community home. We have dedicated our professional careers to providing you with the finest that dentistry has to offer. We are proud to provide care for the Aiea community that has been such a fundamental part of our lives. Dr. Cedric Lewis is a lifelong Honolulu resident who received his dental degree from the Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Lewis’ wife, Kristin, was raised in Aiea & attended local schools from Waimalu Elementary to Aiea High School before going on to the University of Hawaii at Manoa as a scholar-athlete & graduating from the William S. Richardson School of Law. Her family still lives in the Aiea area.

Dr. Cedric Lewis

Dr. Cedric LewisDr. Cedric Lewis is a 1996 graduate of the Oregon Health Sciences University, where he received his doctorate in dental medicine. In his continuing education, he has completed courses in esthetics & implants, anesthesia & pain control, cosmetic dentistry & the diagnosis & treatment of TMJ (i.e. jaw pain) disorders. Dr. Lewis is a charter member of the prestigious Hawaii Terry Tanaka Dental Study Group for prosthodontics. Dr. Lewis is also a volunteer dentist for the Special Olympics Hawaii & the Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services, a health center where he started a dental mentorship program for disadvantaged kids. Dr. Lewis is one of 12 dentists in the country, & the only one from Hawaii, chosen by the American Dental Association Institute for Diversity in Leadership. In 2008 through 2015, Dr. Lewis was voted by his peers as one of Hawaii’s Best Dentists in Honolulu Magazine & voted best dentist in Honolulu Magazine from 2003–2021. In his spare time, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, his son, Cole, & his two Pomeranians, Pooh Bear & Snoopy.

Dr. Alexander Tarasov

Dr. Alexander TarasovDr. Alexander Tarasov was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. He received his dental degree from Boston University & completed one year of advanced education in general dentistry at the University of the Pacific. After practicing as an associate general dentist in a private office in Cambridge (Mass) Dr. Tarasov was accepted to a three-year specialty program at John D. Dingell VA Medical center. Upon completion of the residency, he moved to Oahu, where he works as a staff prosthodontist at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor, Hickam Hawaii & provides care to patients of Kahala area at Wai‘alae Dental Care & Dental Care of Pearlridge.

Dr. Bryson Chang

Dr. Bryson ChangDr. Bryson Chang was born & raised as a local boy in Aiea, & could not be more excited to be practicing on the island he calls home. Following his early love for sports, he attended Mid-Pacific Institute & played baseball for the Owls throughout high school. Dr. Chang received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Creighton University’s undergraduate program in Omaha, NE. He then went on to attend Creighton University’s School of Dentistry, where he focused his efforts towards his childhood dream of becoming a dentist. Dr. Chang attributes much of his strong sense of community from the values he experienced at Creighton. His time on the mainland allowed him to road trip—giving him the travel bug he has today. When he isn’t working, you can catch Dr. Chang traveling, fishing or playing golf.

Dr. Rob Wu

Dr. Rob WuDr. Rob Wu was born & raised on the island of Oahu. He is a graduate of Creighton University’s School of Dentistry (Omaha, NE), where he received his doctorate in dental surgery. During his time in Omaha, he served his community by volunteering at the OneWorld Dental Clinic. Today, he is an active member of the American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Wu golfs & travels the world. As his patient, you can expect gentle care & professionalism. He will take the time to understand your needs, perform a thorough exam & provide treatment using reliable & up-to-date technology.

Dr. David Hoang

Dr. David HoangDr. David Hoang has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years & is still very passionate about each encounter, story & treatment he has experienced with patients. He loves to learn different techniques backed by science & blend them with his personal experience to provide his patients with comprehensive, restorative & preventive dentistry.

Dr. Hoang has put together a team to make sure your experience in the dental chair is a happy one. He is eager to show you why coming to the dentist is not as scary as some may have you think.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Hoang enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife Karen & their three kids. You can find them out & about at the zoo or parks.

Dr. Andy Lee

Dr. Andy LeeDr. Andy Lee was born & raised in Los Angeles, California. His family has a background in healthcare & he decided to pursue dentistry. He received his dental degree at Loma Linda University. He has worked in southern California & most recently spent several years in Texas. Dr. Lee has provided dental care as a volunteer on international mission trips to Ethiopia & Romania. Closer to home he has volunteered in communities in Loma Linda, CA; San Antonio, TX; & for a Navajo reservation in New Mexico. Dr. Lee continuously strives to learn & improve his skills through continuing education so he can provide the best care possible. It is his desire to provide simple, effective, & comfortable dental care. He enjoys spending his time traveling, hiking & swimming.
