Dr. Cedric Lewis

Dr. Cedric Lewis is a 1996 graduate of the Oregon Health Sciences University, where he received his doctorate in dental medicine. In his continuing education, he has completed courses in esthetics & implants, anesthesia & pain control, cosmetic dentistry, & the diagnosis & treatment of TMJ (i.e. jaw pain) disorders. Dr. Lewis is a charter member of the prestigious Hawaii Terry Tanaka Dental Study Group for prosthodontics. Dr. Lewis is also a volunteer dentist for the Special Olympics Hawaii & the Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services, a health center where he started a dental mentorship program for disadvantaged kids. Dr. Lewis is one of 12 dentists in the country, & the only one from Hawaii, chosen by the American Dental Association Institute for Diversity in Leadership. In 2008 through 2015, Dr. Lewis was voted by his peers as one of Hawaii’s Best Dentists in Honolulu Magazine & voted as one of Honolulu’s best dentists from 2003–2018. In his spare time, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, his son, Cole, & his two Pomeranians, Pooh Bear & Snoopy.

Dr. Matt McCullough

Dr. Matt McCullough was born in Louisiana & grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended West Point, & served five years as an officer in the US Army. After receiving an honorable discharge at the rank of Captain, he returned to Texas to attend dental school at University of Texas School of Dentistry-Houston. In his free time during dental school, Dr. McCullough volunteered to provide dental care to Inupiaq Eskimos in Alaska, Parkland Public Hospital in Dallas & dental mission trips in east Texas. He refines his clinical skills throughout the year with continuing education in order to provide the quality service that his patients deserve. He lives with his wife on Oahu & enjoys surfing & woodworking in his spare time.

Dr. Alexander Tarasov

Dr. Alexander Tarasov was born is St. Petersburg, Russia. He received his dental degree from Boston University & completed one year of advanced education in general dentistry at the University of the Pacific. After practicing as an associate general dentist in a private office in Cambridge (Mass) Dr. Tarasov was accepted to a three-year specialty program at John D. Dingell VA Medical center. Upon completion of the residency he moved to Oahu, where he works as a staff prosthodontist at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii & provides care to patients of Kahala area at Wai‘alae Dental Care.

Dr. Denis Jakuj

Dr. Denis Jakuj was born in Albania & grew up near Boston, Massachusetts, where he fought hard to resist picking up a strong Boston accent, although he will occasionally use terms like “wicked good”. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UMass Amherst & his doctorate from New York University College of Dentistry. After spending four years in New York City he decided to see the other side of the U.S. & packed his bags for Hawaii. He likes to fill his spare time by reading, cycling, weight lifting & baking.

Dr. Andy Lee

Dr. Andy Lee was born & raised in Los Angeles, California. His family has a background in healthcare & he decided to pursue dentistry. He received his dental degree at Loma Linda University. He has worked in southern California & most recently spent several years in Texas. Dr. Lee has provided dental care as a volunteer on international mission trips to Ethiopia & Romania. Closer to home he has volunteered in communities in Loma Linda, CA, San Antonio, TX, & for a Navajo reservation in New Mexico. Dr. Lee continuously strives to learn & improve his skills through continuing education so he can provide the best care possible. It is his desire to provide simple, effective, & comfortable dental care. He enjoys spending his time traveling, hiking & swimming.

Dr. Radhika Patel

Dr. Radhika Patel was born in New York, but spent most of her childhood in southern Ohio so you may catch her humming to country music, saying “y’all, or wearing cowboy boots. She received her bachelors degree from Case Western Reserve University in biology & anthropology. She then received dual degrees, both her dental degree & a masters in public health from the University of Pittsburgh School. After dental school Dr. Patel moved to Washington DC where she practiced & furthered her love for dentistry. To continue her exciting journey, her husband, Doug, received orders to move to Hawaii & she couldn’t be more thrilled to be this exploring this part of the country. In her free time, she loves to hike, play tennis, & spend time with her husband& two dogs, Spartacus & Emma.
